my son has a 63 nova2.he wants me to ask if early mustang parts interchange with any of the nova parts mainly the front end stuff....anyhelp thanks....
There are quite a few kits that you can buy that use Mustang II front suspension components. But for a basic kit it would cost you at least $1500 for those kits. I know of some people that have fabricated their own front clips.... Best site for a 63 Nova: www.stevesnovasite.com I am a member there under the same screen name. Great place for Nova info. I myself have a 63 Nova. I love the straight axle look like the other guy here recommends.....would be sweet......it was either a Gasser or Pro Street with mine....I went the Pro Street route.....
Chassisworks sells a bolt in fronend for box Nova's here's a link http://www.dragracingonline.com/technical/upfront.html
The front spring perches from a '64-'73 Mustang will fit with a small elongation of one bolt hole on the'62-'67 Nova upper control arm. I build Mustang roller bearing equipped spring perches, and I sell alot of them to the Nova guys.
I would love to see these. Do you have any pictures (or a website) of your work? You have me interested!
Also a company called CPP makes a mini subframe kit that bolts right in. Price is reasonable, and the install looks easy. I might even end up with this setup instead of running the stock suspension up front. Some good info (and pictures) here: http://stevesnovasite.com/forums/showthread.php?t=36016&highlight=Lower+control A link to the manufacturer's page on the install: http://www.classicperform.com/tech_articles/CPP_Subframe_Install/CPP_Subframe_Install.htm
