Now I hate the greased lightning car. Never did understand the huge fins and the headlights on top of the fenders.

    Don't like the movie either.

  4. What do you mean? The movie is cool!!! Well, maybe not cool, but I have always liked it.

As ugly as the Corvette Summer car is, the movie is worse and the book sucks meniscus, I read it on the 747 when I came on my family vacation to Florida in 1979.

I like the Grease car, it's kinda retarded but in a kookoo good way.

Ran across this in "The History of Hudson" by Don Butler. It provides a little more info.

It also refers to the curve of the top surface of a liquid in a test tube or similar container.

There are a lot of nerds on here!

Yeah that's what I was refering to. It's the surface tension on the surface of a liquid, it's what causes water skiing.

"The Sir Vival absorbs impact from any direction except from a direct hit in the rear, like many common accidents, and causes driver decapitation thanks to a clever panoramic view from the open gun turret."

    Nice!

Ever been picked up by a speed camera? ever wondered what the little LOGO ."GATSO " means on the photo they post you?.
it's the guy sitting in the car!! Maurice Gatsonides ,former world rallye champ and asshole speedcamera inventor.:mad: who built a few 'Gatso' specials in the early 50's.

I couldn't help but notice the 'Vette theme a page or so back, and it got me thinking about this crazy car that used to appear at a lot of the St. Louis area car shows when I was a bit younger... It didn't seem so ugly at the time, instead, it seemed just kind of weird... Weird that someone would do that to 'Vette. What is about Corvettes, that makes the owner want to cut a pointy nose on the thing??? Oh, one other question. Where is it NOW???

Here it is, the SANDBLASTER, circa late '70s:

OK ! Finally the crap's out of the bag. There was a lot of ugly useless crap built in the '50s-'60. Lets start with almost every post Sam Barris car,all of Starbird's, all of Roth's after the black T, everything that used a bath tub, coffin, or phone booth. Continue with all two-door pre '49 Ford Woodys and all pre '52 Ford and Merc steel station wagons. All pre '57 customs with fins and anything with fender skirts you can see through. Also any custom that has features that represent nature in any way, trees, shells, fish, zebras bats, etc. When we get all of these in a pile and the fire is going well then we can take the rest on one at a time. This was the era of the Emperor's New Customs and was to cars what the Beatles were to Rock & Roll

You state your opinion as fact and we all know that opinions are like assholes.
