I hadn't till now but it certainly is something to consider if your serious. what would be the best event to attend there and when is it normally held?

Thanks much for the offer bud. I will let you know if it doesn't work out with BigDaddy.

It would be fun to have you here in town. I hope it goes down.

Send me your new address and phone number and I'll make sure the woodie candle gets sent to you upon my death......unless of course you beat me outta here.:D

Seriously, without realizing it till now I have alot of woodie wagon stuff. I don't collect woodie stuff BUT woodie wagons have been available in the stuff I collect....make sense? I would be honored to leave you these pieces if in fact you don't alreaady have them.

I have a collection of automobile cookie jars, mostly topless ones. I have left them all to the Speedway Museum upon my death as they have a collection as well with only one of ours being the same. Here's a couple of shots of the Woodie Wagon one.

I also have a collection of these little treasure boxes with cars on top that open and have something related inside. Here is the woodie one in the collection.

My bathroom is done in a surf shack theme and this holds cotton balls on the counter.

This is a ceramic piece that sits on a table next to the tub
    [IMG]

and this piece hangs on the wall
    [IMG]

I will leave you these pieces to you in my will if you PM me your address and phone number for my family to get ahold of you when the time comes. There is no way my sister or nephew wants all this car crap.:D

You and Megan sure have fun. Your abilities to hunt out the good spots to tour and your camera abilities are tops. Topped only by your sharing the photos with everyone on the HAMB....Thanks

For us that have not been there THANKS. The pic's were great and it seems you both had fun!

  25. Denise, Thanks for posting all the picts and the stories. At least that cop let you off without a ticket. I had a similiar thing happen in France and had to pay 90 Euros on the spot! Wasn't enought that I was on my way to Omaha beach to pay tribute to all the Americans that dies so they could live free! It was good seeing you at the meet and greet...

Good to finally meet you two, although only for a short talk. Oceanic arts has been in business for over fifty years. Bob, one of the owners sold his new Corvette so they could travel the south seas .
They came back and started the business. LeRoy the other owner was telling me about his old hotrodding flathead days couple of weeks ago. Drop me a line some time .

    FANTASTIC !,... (as usual)

I have a dial up modem, and a "Fisher-Price" computer,... several hours of loading along with a bunch of hitting the refresh button,..... but worth every minute, Thanks Denise (and Megan)

Maybe Ryan should designate a area just for all your travel logs,... seriously I think they are that good, and like Rudy said, It's better and more interesting coverage than all of the magazines combined,.....

Again thanks for all your efforts, they are truly appreciated.
