any one wanting to bring there car ( hot rod or kustom) into the show sat and park out side the buildigs ,down load a entry form from www.rodshows.com bring your form $$$ and car to the entry gate.the weather is saposetobe good that weekend.you cant beat this parking!
What is going on. In the Cursin News, it said that the entries had to be in by the first on Feb..(Feb.1st). No refunds..Well now, I could have waited and if it rains, I don't go and save the money.. You need to get your act together..This B.S. Duane. ps..If it rains and I don't go are you going to refund my entry fee..
Alex Gambino is just trying to help ! The producers of the show is now allowing people to print out an application for the "Drive In", fill it out , and have it with them (along with the fee) when they enter the show. There will not be a late fee.
This is a great offer to those that that are not good at making deadlines. Also, for those that are still wrenching and do not know if their ride will be running by then. If someone was concerned with rain, should not have sent in entry. It is Winter, rain happens-hopefully not next weekend.
Alex, looks like it's for Sat. only as per the form entry! Glad you guys made it back safely from the GNRS Looks like this Autorama is the same weekend of our club meeting as well on Sunday Cheers, CAB
That was a real intelligent answer.."Afraid of Rain"..That is not the issue.. And you didn't answer my question..You need to step up to the plate..How about an adult answer..You have your foot in your mouth now reverse it.. Duane.. ps..This is the same time that "socalsacramento" is have it's grand opening with V.T. there..
Its a Shame Seattle's show is behind the times and does not have something similar to what GNRS and Sac are doing... would be easy to section off a portion of the parking garage on the second floor. Hell they have an Import section... Seattle is missing an opportunity
Look it's really simple...if you haven't sent in a drive-in registration yet, wait until the day of the show, download and fill out a form. Bring it and the $$ with you, and you get to park up front, get passes to the show and a goodie bag. It just means there's still time and you can make up your mind the day of the show. Anybody that filled one out ahead of time knows there would be a chance of rain.
I'm working on rounding up some cars for the drive-in,,,I was going to wait to bring out my car until I finished the body mods, but screw it. See you guys there. Bryan
I will most likely have My Brothers '60 Caddy there. My wagon is still in the rebuilding transmission phase and has alot more work to be done to it. But this show is great rain or shine, pre registered or not, we always have a blast, good freinds and people to BS with. See you guys there.
Actually, i heard the issue really *is* that you're afraid of rain. Sometimes the rain can really be nice and refreshing. Maybe if you weren't so angry at the rain, you could be happy and not get all wound up about things. -scott noteboom
the only reason i came off like that is i aint the promoter of the show and i think you know that, your the one who said if it rains would i refund your $ ? if you dont have a problem with the rain then i dont understand .im sure i can get you a refund if you realy have to have one again its not my show.im just trying to help out
"notebooms", you need to grow-up..Rain & Money aren't the issue.."YOU don't get it"..Yes, I will not drive my open hood Sedan in the rain..I really don't want water getting into my engine.. Gambino, thanks for the pm..Hope to see you there.. Duane..

hey Alex, we're leavin in the early AM, see you guys up there, after we get set up we will come and hang out in the suede pavilion.
Coming from someone that drives a hoodless hotrod in an area that rains alot, dont worry about it. Heck I drove 15 hours to Austin in the rain ( some of the rain was HEAVY) and it only caused a few sputters. You should probably go after the show promotor if your car gets wet.
