Got another 9 inches today here in madison WI , will it ever end ??? . I envy you coast fellas crusin all year round . How much snow did everyone else in the mid west get ?
Last Friday I was about to post a picture of my feet wearing flip flops in my shop to tease you northern guys about how warm it is here in Feburary. I now have to take a bath in mosquito repellant before i can work in my shop.... the grass ain't always greener Hang in there...spring is coming.
I-90 over the pass, to cross the state has got over 30 feet in the last 30 days, yes 30 feet!!!!!.......OLDBEET
That's not snow...those are "global warming flakes." Most likely mixed with CFCs and other pollutants that give them size, mass and fluffiness by bonding with H2O molecules through a chemical reaction. -Brad
didnt have any thing last night woke up this mourning with 12 hard inches, o yea it snowed like hell too. lol wheres plowboy in a thread when you need him
Came in this morning and it was trying to freeze rain.. They say 2-4 today for us and 5-8 tonite. Most of our snow melted over the weekend and I really hate to see any more.. I didnt check the report till a few minutes ago and i drove the car instead of the 4x4 today.. Oh well ill get home it just takes a lot longer cause of stupid drivers when its snowing.. Dave
Back in early December we got about 10" That snow has never melted. every so often the clouds rebuild, like the Romans, on top of the old stuff. My snow blower can't keep up with the challenge. This is the longest time I can ever remember having snow on the ground around here. Guess the earth wants to show 'global warming' the front door, eh?
it was almost 70 here monday snowed last night but people are nicer here than the left coast and my house cost 10% what most out there cost, HA!
We had an ice storm last Tuesday, 10" of snow last Thursday and in the midst of getting another 8" as we speak. Temps have been crazy cold.
We got about 7-9 inches here around St. Louis, but with the 74 degree day Monday it's all gone... not to mention the flood of rain we had yesterday.
We do have a lot of beer here in Sheboygan! I think we are rocking 4 brewery's right now in this city alone. The fact that we can't drive anywhere because we can't see the road right now is the downer. Most of the bars here have spotted cow on tap if that makes you feel any better
the way i figure, i live in milwaukee with like 7-12 brewerys in the local area, so having to live with snow is the price i have to pay to have massive amounts of the sweet local nectar of life and i think we have like 2 feet of snow on the ground in front of my house.
Fat squirrel in the fridge here.... and he's freezing his Nuts off...! Funny thing is that it's exspensive... so I buy the less exspensive imports like Shiner Boch...! I can buy Shiner Boch cheaper in Wisconsin than I could in Texas...!!! Figure that out...?????
Here in central Oregon I have about 24" on my deck. Hard to get to the shop cause of the berms made to clear the driveway. Spring will come and the snow will go away. The lower property prices in the South and Mid states will probably stay however......lucky bastards. At least around here the mosquitos and the 'brown death' are only minor issues.
73 here in Charlotte today....but unfortunately high 40's for the weekend. I miss the snow. The winter is so short here I feel like there is no down time to build. On the other hand though, it's nice to go out into the garage and not have worry about frost bite.
we are supposed to get 17 to 20 inches.....my flight got cancelled to vegas because of this wonderfull snow
let it snow, let it snow......just finished my driveway, and it looks like i didn't do anything... there are times i REALLY REALLY miss Atlanta!
No snow so far this year in Jersey. Todays forcast partly cloudy 65 deg. I'm a big fan of global warming Gary
it rained 20 days out of 31 in January, there was snow on the tips of a couple of local peaks.. but not for long. I could never live in the snow like you guys...I don't know how you do it.
