The opening bid price on Ebay is 5k. No takers biting so far. But it still hurts to see one with a bit of potential smashed like that.

anybody notice on the ebay link the first question at the bottom someone asked "i noticed the chain saw, blah blah...i'm wondering if the operator had a hand in crushing the car, i hope not". Apparently that guy never noticed in one of the pictures the giant tree roots sticking out of the ground.
If it were mine, OUCH would be what the guy with the chain saw said when I got to him. Probably a few other four letter words too.
Street rod , hot rod, rat rod, old school, new school they are all cars and someone put their sweat, time and hard earned dollars into it. That guy couldn't have felt any different than you would have if it was yours.
I don't know why you couldn't just slap another body on it, check the alignment, and if it's all good just go with it. It looks like the body took the worst of it.

I've seen worse than that cruising the fair grounds . I hate the A got squished but, like a few others, Im glad it didn't get the Chevelle in stead.
