Hope you make it down.I tinker with the Falcon almost everyday after work and i have been trying some tips that Homspun gave me on the carb and dist. and i keep finding more and more power from the Tunnel Ram .I am dying to take the Ranchero down the track after all the time ,money ,and skinned knuckles i have put into it since "Temple" ...

I would love to see that Falcon of yours run! Looks like a handful. Good luck with it. If I don't make it down be sure and post some pics!

Weather permitting and a few issues here at the shop, but we will try and bring the "Texas Thunder" Ford for a few passes..just for fun and I think Jim Conway will roll in with his Black 55.

Still have many things to do to the Ford from last season...major ignition problems and we will be changing to a digital 7 and a crank trigger...but will not have them installed for the "Thaw"...will just run it without any rev limiters..Should be fun to hear and watch on the line...We usually launch at 6500, but without the "helpers"...it sometimes goes to 7500...........I love it.
We also have some of the "good stuff" in the tank. Not sure how it will work, but am dam sure wanting to give it a shot or two to see the difference between our normal C-14.

Killer Mark. Can't wait to see that thing make some launches. Sorry we missed the open house, but I had a ton of crap to do after the crawl.
Look forward to seeing your Galaxie.............

Its only a few weeks away ,so i dont think a little punking and trash talking would be premature. Let her rip .I dont know for sure what will happen ,but Buzzard is first on my list to grudge match and hopefully beat...

I'd sure like to come on down but I think I'd better save my gas money for some dragster chassis goodies.

The reason I ask is because a few years ago there was a straight-axle, early Ranchero running around here that was brown and had "Momma`s Worry" painted on the side. I think it had a hot little 289 and a 4 speed.

No, i think it was red from the factory and repainted white at sometime before i got it.It wasnt straight axled when i got it ,so i dont think it is the one you are thinking of .That sounds like a neat falcon your are talking about though.

Im sure my car has picked up some E.T. since the last time i ran it ,but not enough to hang with what you got going on.I will race you anyway for fun Dennis .Why the change from the spray to a big block anyway ?If i remember right, it ran in the 10's before with the sbc and spray .Do you figure it will run faster with a naturally asspirated BBC or are just tired of messing with NOS ?

You are so on ,and i will even run you without my slicks Friday night and still own you.I will even shift the 4 spd. with my left hand if you want (since my right arm is registered with the NHRA as "Bionic Man" status with a 4spd ).Not even yet ?Okay i will wire the choke shut and cross two plug wires on the cap.I will proly still have a slight advantage cuz its a Ford but not by much at that point. Now put that in your pipe and smoke it.Ha,Ha,Ha ,see you at the Thaw Robert...
