I disagree... I did a little research and the guy who posted the previous msg is right. A little google goes a LONG way.

I've been into cars my whole life, and I didn't know anything about this. CRAZY stuff... Thanks for sharing...

Hell, that IS the front!! :D

Seriously, looks like something from the animated movie "Robots". I'll bet this car has a story to tell.

There was a thread from quite some time ago with lots of pictures.

I like it, looks a little 'cobbled' and could use some refining so it all flows better, there must be a SHIT load of work in it though!

  18. No problem, mcload! I picked up Tamiya's kit of the 2CV on Espay- might try something this, but with a little more finesse...

So, how many of you are happy to see your car didn't make the thread? ;)

One I remember seeing was a T-bucket with a chrome helmet for a roof and 2 or 3 blowers stacked. Don't remember where I saw it but it was hideous.

  22. I don't think it would be that hard to fix. Put a '53-4 hood/grille, bumper and pan on it; paint to match. Change wheels and tires, and bag it or lower it a few inches. Presto -

It looks goofy with the grille that leans back (in the later hood most everyone seems to throw away on these cars at that) and headlights completely vertical.

Well, at least a new front clip would mostly fix this one.

Anyone who uses those style headlights in a vintage car should be shot on site.

That one's still around too. It's at the The Smith Collection Museum of American Speed in Lincoln, Nebraska.
