Finally got the UGLY ol' Willys done W/pics

Put about 250 miles on it this past weekend, runs VERY strong, cruises 70 mph no probs, got about 16.5 mpg. Still having a hard time getting it to idle where I want, about 1000-1100 is as low as I can seem to get it. Rides, handles, and corners well. I still need to put the A/GS stickers in the quarter windows, and still want to put a 4 pt cage in, just mainly for looks. It needs a good polishin on all the pretty parts, and ready for spring. Also are pics of my 42 Willys, I plan to put a new ss 14 gallont gas tank in in place of the stock 8 gallon, also putting in new halogen headlights, the ones it it really ****. It needs a good polishin as well. I just bought a 1941 pick-up, earl sheib is baby sitting it right now until Ben D can load it up and get it here. Thanks again guys. wow!!! I love both of them. Glad to see that you left the 37-38 front end on it. I know some people think its ugly but i like it because its different. We have an all steel coupe (filthy forty look-a-like) and our steel pickup went to the bodyshop last thursday. (i would post pictures if i were smarter with this thing). Glad that you got to take it out on the road.

That's the ugliest car I've ever seen. You need to put some pastel color with multi-colored graphics on the sides. Take out those bucket seats and put in a soft tweed bench that has 6 different ways of movement. And for goodness sake, remove that blown Ford and put in a sensible 305 SBC.

Or you could just send it North to me and be rid of that eyesore.

Linsead oils over stock paint and rust! Powder coated frame etc. I think Kerry sill holds the fastest Vagabond ***le, All I could hope for is that he would miss A gear. Not even sure if I'll race this year, might just be fun watching for a change, Who knows?? Thanks for all the kind word guys. I can't wait for spring!

The part that he hasn't mentioned guys is that he built this thing in only a few months. Impresses the **** out of me every time he builds. This one is undoubtably the fastest that I know of that he has built.
