67 250 , split manifold and marine camshaft from Tom langdon at stovebolt.com. Home made two carb intake with glass bowl hollleys, alum side plate and mallory distributor.

We just milled a flatspot in intake for twin carbs and bloced off the center one. Worked very well .

A $150 engine with intake and exhaust built by me. Runs really good in a '35 International.

Hey ronrob75, that Edelbrock air filter that you have has been documented on here as the source for more than one engine fire from an engine hiccup. You might want to change it out for something less flamable.

    Happy motoring, Kinky6

Bob K, Kurt got it right, it's a vintage sprint car radiator with 4 corner cooling set up for a sbc. Rather than giving a radiator shop $$$, I bought a bunch of hose and clamps. You can see I heated the intake with water. BTW, I met you 2 years ago at Back to the Fifties. I had the '27 Chrysler Tub. Since then I picked up 2-292 Chevy 6's, just in case another project comes along...

Built a 250 cid 6 once myself. Posted it once on this site, so I won't go into it again. BUT, you guys really are a bunch on SIX MANIACS; any of you REGISTERED SIX OFFENDERS? They can sure be made to haul!

Prolly because of the way the motor mounts are on the block, The drivers side mount boss is in a different place than the pass side. It has to conform to a different frame profile.

The reason the drivers side mount is offset on the stovebolt motor mounts is to clear the stock steering on 49-54 cars. He may offer a set that isn't like that, but you would need to call or email. I believe he is on vacation right now though. Most of the stuff Langdon sells isn't on the website. Call or ask for a paper catalog. I believe Chassis Engineering also sells some mounts.
