Name is James or "Rudy"......... I live in Howell, 26, Paraplegic in a wheelchair who lives and breathes cars. Just finished up my first rotisserie resto of a non-hamb friendly mustang, was in the detroit free press in aug, soon to be feathured in Modified Mustangs Magazine. Picked up a 31 Ford 5 window coupe, the car I have always dreamed of building, getting ready to start on that sometime soon. Hoping to build this one a bit cheaper than the stang, but I do shit right, and I do it myself and with the help of great freinds and looking to make some more....... Probably be at autorama friday and sunday, think I am going on the GM heritage tour also......... look for me, Titanium wheelchair with a plate topper on the back that sez: "Lone Wolf, No Club". James
Hey my name is Billy, 22 yr old college kid about to finish complete 5 year 65 Nova build ( I know not a true rod). Currently trying to purchase my bosses dads 31 Ford Tudor as my next project (he doesnt quite want to sell it to me because I dont want to restore it I want to hot rod it! haha). Hopefully I will be able to purchase soemthing by summer. I live in South East Michigan...Clinton Township to be exact.
Hi, I'm Stewart, a Brit, now living out here in the colonies!!!!!! I live in East Lansing. Drove across the US in '92 in a hi-boy Anglia and stayed. Used to work for Fairlane, then ran Real Hot Rods, now back into teaching at LCC. Building a '33 5W coupe to run bonneville and the HAMB drags this summer. OK this is the part where I hijack this thread..... I have neck/shoulder problems that will need surgery in the future. I've just finished 5 months of physical therapy which has relieved a lot of the pain and given me more mobility back in my shoulder. All of this has put me 4 months behind schedule to finish the coupe for B/ville. This is a plea for help, with a great chance for you. If you have ever wanted to run at Bonneville but could'nt afford it, and are willing to help me finish my coupe, then you get to run my car down the salt, and up the strip at Mokan!!! I am working on the coupe Tuesday and Thursday nights and 1 Saturday a month. Please come and help, and then drive my coupe like you stole it!!! If this is something that interests you please PM me. Cheers, Stewart.
DAM! Limey Kid..I would take you up on this in a heart beat.. Ive got a need for speed and have been a pilot (not that that would make a difference for the salt). sorry to hear about your predicament, but im sure you are in the right house to get the help and support you need. Im just too far away, and have too many family issues going on at this time to be of any help to you..but I shure would like to see your dream come true.. someday i'll get to go over 200 on the ground..just has to be exillerating (sp) as hell!
Tom here live in Canton 25min from downtown Im a nailhead nut with a drinking problem Im also working on a 57 buick that will be done for next years show I hope Tom
