Who Here Likes Bumperette Taillights? I Sure Do!!

    I have always wanted different taillights on my Plymouth but could never find something thats just right until...
    I found a complete 1956 DeSoto grill including the turnsignal pods which are perfect for bumperette tailights.
    With some quick modifications this is where I'm at;

    I'm really liking the way the rear is coming together. I hope I finish this damn car soon.

    That is the 51 Shoebox I traded the 68 Impala for. Flynstone built it. I sold it to a guy here on the HAMB and he painted it ALL gloss grey,without doing any bodywork! I think I have a pic.

    Here's what it looks like now. He ****ed it up! He should have just put the door tops on and installed the gl*** and left it alone...It's hard to tell,but you can see all the dents and waves that were hidden behind the flames and the flat black paint.

    what could I do different with this? since we're on the topic off bumperettes. would I be able to change the rear off this?

    Yea,but it would take alot of work. Remove the tailights and round off the tops,similar to a 51 Merc. Then put some kind of lights in your bumpergaurds. I have a pic of something,sort of. Not the lights,but the fenders.

    yeah! the top off the rear of my car is a little heavy look in the back. that is one area Im really considering on changing! BTT your plymouth looks fricken sweet!
