I'd kinda like to transplant this into a T-bucket. Yellow scoop and all.

Second choice would be a Smokey built 427 with the Smokey cross ram. Oops, done that one. Back to the Surfers hemi I guess. [IMG]

How long is it? heh heh It's about 3 feet long Baby!

It'll be runnin' soon...almost 300 cubes (vs. 263ci stock), and about 225 ponies (up from 128 stock).

I think Mr42's already beat you to the Merlin idea [IMG]

How about a Packard Merlin with a bunch of Maytag parts?

    Would be one mean mother!

  16. I've always thought that Ford made a real nice V8...for the Pershing TANK! About 1000 c.i., 500 hp, all aluminum SOHC (shaft driven)! Dunno torque... I think "gobs"!
Hefty bugger though...I think about 1200 lbs. This is a Heffalump Motor!!

I gotta put in another vote for the 348/409. First car was a 59 El Camino (with the little 283). I was determined to get a 348 from then...and still am. Got my eyes peeled.

I would be stoked with a clapped out, grimey chevy 350 yanked out of a junkyard station wagon...

    Well,
I don't have any pic, but I'm planning on running my aluminum Buick 215 in my Paige Roadster...
I'll need to learn how to properly polish it first...

I'm still partial to the old Latham supercharged Y-block that is now running in texas. I hated to sell it cause it was beautiful but I have a blown 392 Hemi and an Algon injected Lincoln 430 (that I'll post up next week cause there ain't one here and this post is a nice one for checking out everything). This is for Fat Hack....
I'm with ya on the Y block love but they're all cool.

Well I'm working on a different v8 for my future coupe/roadster (whatever I find).

    Mercury Marauder 383 312hp...no it's not an FE, it's a MEL.
and this will sit on top of it.
