Chartered Accountant by trade, now I write auditing manuals, teach accounting and auditing courses and consult. Instead of actually DOING an audit, I just tell people what they need to do..works for me.

Yeah, I know it's not as exciting as being a skydiving instructor but it pays the bills.;) Besides, life insurance is much cheaper.

I was working as a fabricator at http://edjuniorkustomrides.com/ and other race/street fab shops, before an accident which left me as a Teteraplegic, so having to retrain in CAD Engineering, which takes me back to my accidemics where i started, which is good.

"Facilities Maintenance Coordinator". Well, thats what they tell me anyway... 1.5 million square feet of class A office space and thousands of whiners... "I'm hot, I'm cold! The parking lot is slippery from the snow storm, we are leaving early today because of the weather, lock our doors... We broke the hot water faucet etc. The toilet is plugged." Blah blah blah... At least I'm paid well to be an adult daycare provider....

Was a Union Bricklayer until I fell and broke my back. I am now recovering and a full time student in the process of becoming a guidance counselor and am in the process of having a guest house in Jamaica built so that we can rent out when were not there for extra income.

been a freelance illustrator and cartoonist since 1982... tried carpentry and automotive mechanics, but basically everything I did with engines or woodworking sucked. Luckily I can draw and paint and found people who would pay me to that... being a freelancer, I had plenty of spare time during the day to visit classrooms and do lectures, eventually I started teaching illustration and drawing and painting at the college level. Now I'm a full time professor at a college in Philadelphia. I still am pretty lousy at doing anything very complicated on any of the project vehicles I've owned, but I've drawn some pretty good pictures of them...

Mine is one of the saddest stories... I am in charge of a 4.5 million dollar powder coating system, but no hot rod parts can ever go through it.
