I just woke up wonderin'. Whatever became of Littleman's move to So Cal Speed Shop? Was it real? Or typical cable tv cah-cah? Did I dream the whole thing? Hmmm.

Why don't you PM him? He's still a human being despite all his celebrity status:D.

I just got back from a swapmeet...a swapmeet on a Sunday morning is like church to me..........The move would have been monetary suicide...I really was offered a job........I really liked California......but making the move did not fit my family in the end.......I really enjoy the comfort of my backyard garage.....Littleman....I do not regret spending the time that I did while out their and lucky my wife understood...and am real close to getting my old job back..time will tell.

Man, I swear this board is psychic! Iwas just thinking the same thing the other day.

I really enjoyed seeing Dave do well on that show. I picked him from the beginning. I noticed on a couple of his posts the location was Ohio.

    Thanks for the entertainment.

No, I just worked in a toolcrib at a company called Swagelok...I ground drills, cut-offs, forms, pulled the tooling for the jobs, pulled all cages required.....but then later got my hands on a company Bridgeport and lathe and expanded my job......I taught myself how to use them and was soon making things to print for the engineers and doing some proto type stuff...or a multi million dollar machine would go down, and they would be told that it would take over a week to get the part from Germany......I would take the broken part and make a new one at work or take it home and show up with it the next day...also took alot of welding home to tig up ....Thats why I actually liked my job, using the mill or lathe at work made me better on my stuff at home and enforced what I wanted to learn to expand my hotrod makin capabilities........Littleman

    Littleman,

Always humble, proto-type and one off parts for multimillion dollar machines sounds like high end. Congrats, I hope the position works out.

Littleman, I'm sure you were as skilled at work as your projects have shown here. They would be a fool to not want you back!!

I remeber seeing my first episode of Hard Shine, then having to wait for my Friend to return the Volume of Mad Fabricators I loaned out so I could check out the car again. The TV show just kept teasing me with little quick pics of it.
I'm definately a fan of your work. So are all of my Friends. So that makes 3 here is KS I know of. Later man, Josh.

    Hey Littleman,
It's a shame the company couldn't have given you a leave of absence for the show taping? Some do,most don't.Sabbaticals are tough to explain.
You definately have them by the "short and curlys" given your knowledge and motivation.
    Good luck to you!
I enjoy your posts and have learned from them.

  14. I was wondering the same thing just the other day when Denise posted the pics of her trip to So-Cal and the other guy who was on the show with Littleman was in one of the pics.

Good luck in your future man.
