60's/Car/Surf/Beach Movie Tittle Trivia...

A friend of mine is lookin' for the tittle of this movie. Can any HAMBers help?
The movie is one of those 60's ,beach,surf,car cheesy love story deals.
The Supremes were singin' a song (Surfer Boy?) at an indoor custom car show and the stars of the show were being chased around the show on foot.
He said that it showed lots of cars as they were runnin' around.
