sad to here he passed may not have been a icon on this site (didn,t builded are kind of cars) but a icon in the hobby my prayers to his love ones

They say the only things you do more often as you get older is go the bathroom and go to funerals.

Life is fleeting, Mr Coddington made the most of the time he had. We should all do likewise.

Another very talented man has left the the hotrod world. Like him or not, apprecite his visions or hate em, you can not deny the incredible impact he had on the the hotrod community and even non-car people.

A shame to hear of him leaving so early. Good luck to all of his family members, employees, and business ventures.

Wow. Well, look at this way; now Roy can bust his chops again. That should make them both happy; as they were before Roy's passing.

I hope someone is there for Jo. She prolly isn't taking this to well.

My brother once got his ass kicked by Boyd. Maybe he'll share that story sometime.

Man, the only thing I can say is the end of an era. This guy, love em' or hate em', had a major impact in the 80's and 90's. You couldn't help, but see his name in all the mags and events. I definitely respected his view on the Hot Rod scene. It's kinda ironic, because his style lead me to what we sometimes call the traditional style. God speed and payers to his family.

I really like the coddington crew built rides and wheels. I didnt like the way the show portrayed him as...well...an ass. Regardless...respect, R.I.P.
