I was woundering who would be the first to give me some s--t about the "stinkin badges". Thanks Jack. I hope they will help when we are at a HAMB meet & greet. I did have a little problem with the screen name for Tiger Mark. It seams some HAMERs know him by another name, maybe we can clear this up tomorrow.
I'll let that crazy Mexican Bastard answer that. see you guys for breakfast, then we are going to hit an estate sale. Mark was there today. I could not attend , and there was lots and lots of old cameras. tin toys, trains, etc.
No Bob, you aren't slow we are just a little dazed and confused. If one takes the time and dosen't fall asleep one can catch up abit by reading all 275 previous posts. I don't suggest this unless your awake at 2AM and can't sleep. How about bringing some pix of your Olds tomorrow, as a car guy I seem to remember names better when I know their car. I wounder what Frued would say about that?
Jim, thanks for the badges. I wore my all day. I forgot that it was on. The estate sale was overwhelming with old cameras. FoMoCoPower , Tiger and myself all came home with something. Of course their stuff was car related. Just a FYI, Pick up the newest issue of Traditional Rod & Kulture . Issue # 13. Hot Rod Chassis & Cycle is the featured shop tour. Besides having a great write up for the shop, my photos were published for the article. Thanks Kevin and staff.
Thats great Diamond49, now we have our own Photojournalist! Dose this mean if we buy your breakfast we can all be famous, like Kevin?
CONGRATULATIONS, Gina, look forward to checking it out! Glad you all got some stuff at the sale. Who bought toys?? Jim, thanks for the empty stinkin' badge
FYI, read the post on Boyds health. They also mention[KIRKS! post] Lil John Buteras health. Ive known for some time about Lil. Been fighting brain cancer, and of late not doing well at all.Lil talks to Bob Stange[strange engineering] weekly.I get the updates that way thru a buddy.Enjoy every day with family, friends, and play with your toys while ya can I guess.

Ok, I will bring the magazine this week. Its issue # 13 of TR & K. I still havent received my subscription one, but I was fortunate enough to get one at HRCC last week.
I might try. With this weather, I just want to be sure I can get to the shop by the time we open from down there. Shoebox Mags and I have talked about it alot. Time is always the issue. I know when the weather breaks and we can ride our bikes, it won't be a problem. No autographs though please. It's hard enough shaking the poperatzi.
[No autographs though please. It's hard enough shaking the poperatzi. [/quote] another dream crushed! now, i guess i can go back to my stalking of Carrot Top!
Road Trip !!!!!!! Here's what I know so far about next weekends AutoRama in Detriot . OldBobSign is heading out Friday am for the GM tour. Mark and Gina are driving up later Friday . Greg and myself are doing a drive by on Saturday leaving early am. We have a seat or 2 available and should return back by 7pm. Anyone attending the "Circle of Champions "brunch on Saturday ? If no one will be showing up at Chuck's, we should at least let them know. Whats everyone else going to do.
Larry: I'm planning on going up Saturday, but unfortunately I can't go with you & Greg because I'll be leaving from a friends in Indiana. I may see you up there though. Jack
Saturday up and back sounds good to me. What time are doyou plan to leave, and can I meet you on I-80 and RT 249 (portage)? Jim
Departure time to be decided . Will keep you posted. What would be a good exit to call ahead from so we could time your pickup ?
"If no one will be showing up at Chuck's, we should at least let them know. Whats everyone else going to do." Larry: I can't make the road trip, and since the majority won't be in town, I'm going to opt out for Saturday a.m. breakfast. Stu<!-- / message --><!-- sig -->
Larry, let me know what time you want to leave beautiful downtown Palos.I can meet you at your house. Need directions.Usually takes 3.5 to 4 hours depending on traffic and your right foot. One hour time change. Not an early bird, but for you guys, any time. O dark thirty?
So I guess I'm driving the first shift or should I bring a box of No Doze ????? I guess 6:00 or 6:15 would work . Your responsible for your own choice of music. Please be forewarned . I only own Bluegrass, Acoustic String Jazz and Polka music . At least your teeth wont hurt or feel like your stuck in an elevator . Pm your phone # so we can finalize things.
Thanks Larry, I'll send you my phone. 6 am is fine.Just got Hemmings. 3window Larry has his rolling bones 32 3w for sale. He just got that car before GG Indy last year. Entered in hot rod of the year.Broke a motor mount drag racing it, then the petronix module puked and it got towed to the awards at Adams mark.I sat in it, and its way cool. A mere $145,000 and you can be cool too.
I'll be arriving in Detroit, early Saturday morning around 5AM, maybe earlier if I drive straight through?!? I'd like to join you guys, if you don't mind?!
Palosfv3, Greg32, and I are coming up Saturday, and looking foward to meeting you. I sent you a PM, hope my cell phone works in the building.
Wait!, let me think about this, you want me to ride 4 hours each way with a guy that builds French cars and listens to polka music?? I was just going to bring some Stevie Ray Vaughn, but after reading Larrys post I think an "active intervention" may be necessary. Bring all the AC/DC you got!!
Hey !I thought we 'd hit the VFW in Ypsilanti on the way back. I heard they throw a wild Polka Party on Saturday nite. They're bringing in the big hitters, Lenny Gomulka, Eddie Blozonczyk , Frankie Yankovic and the Polkatones. You dont know what your missing until you dance with a girl with hair on her legs.
