Detroit Autorama Meet & Greet, Hot Rod Mingle, GM Heritage Center Tour, & other info

Hey Denise,

I'll be at (at least) the Saturday meet and greet, not planning to get there til late in the afternoon on Friday. And definitely will come out to your place Saturday.

One question, is Livonia commutable? I was thinking about getting a hotel there or Ann Arbor, both look to be about the right distance.

Could you (or someone) let me know?

Lots of folks are staying at the Comfort Inn right at the corner of I-96 and Middlebelt, 4 blocks from my place and about 12 miles from Cobo. Ann Arbors a bit further.

I personally say the more cookies the better.... Hey I just looked at the weather report, it should be a fun drive into Detroit, I hope the weather reports are wrong.

Three generations are heading up for Saturday. My dad, me, and my son.

 

I have to work on Saturday so I am flying up and heading straight to Denise's on Saturday night.

Why bother packing clothes? I'll just have my "Dumb***** - more fun than Christmas" shirt on all weekend. Bet the flight attendents will love that. Maybe I can pick up a transient at the airport bar.

Anyhow - becoming a Ride ***** on Sunday - hoping someone will be able to drive me from Cobo to the airport. Free **** Hugs (tm) to whomever volunteers. Flight is at 5:15 PM

 

Hey I 75 is closed also,I guess there's detours posted,I think we're going up Fort St.

 

FastEdN and I will be up ( down) on Saturday. I have to deliver some Canadian brew to Big Chief. Hopefully he'll have some Arrogant ******* Ale for me! All in the spirit of free trade!
