WOW! Alan Johnson, one of my all time favorites. I LOVE that man. I have one of his signed prints of a Caddy fin hanging in my living room.

Thanks for the update. You boys drive safe and I'll probably see you Wed night.

  13. Looks good. I liked the cartoons on the back, but I'm sort of a pervert.

For those of us that have no clue what these "rear cartoons" look like, could someone please photo a photo or two?

There was a thread on it not long ago with some blown up images of them. They were women pushing wheelbarrows with their saggy breasts inside. Definitely weird and even weirder trying to describe this to a woman!

  16. :)HEY ! The Kart is on it's way to Detroit, Vic & Daran loaded it up about 11:00 this morning just before the rain poured down and headed out to Stillwater Garage and on to the show.
First let me say what an honor it was to met all you good folks involved with this project and stripe this car. It takes alot of for***ude and guts to build a car here on the right coast with our weather, the car was dropped off Fri. night in a snow strom! I have cool photos that I would love to share with you, if some one can lead this old fart thru the process. It was a pleasure to work with my friend Bill Reidel "The Master Letterhead". Special thanks to Carol Mittelsdorf for her skill in getting this scheduled while I was in Colorado. Mywife Judy kept us all fed and awake and happy, I couldn't do any of this without her love and support. Thanks for the flashbacks thru the "Little Books". Maintain" Alan "AJ" Johnson

  22. Sorry I can't make Detroit this year, I ran away with the circus for 3 months and now I have to pay for it so I can run away again up to Quebec April 4-5-6 for a show. Hey by the way , I striped up a bunch of Kopper Kart paint test panels that they will put into the auction along with lots of cool stuff from the Kopper Krew. I gotta get some sleep . Cheers AJ

Hey Alan, THE HONOR WAS ALL OURS. I'm here with Vic about 450 miles into the trip and we will finish the rest tomorrow after the ice storm melts away here in Ohio. We will have updated shots when we get back from Detroit next week. The truck was great, and you made it greater.

    Best regards.

Hey! I thought you and Vic were "going to bed"! ;)

Better get some sleep, since we're going to have to shovel our way to the trucks in the morning!

Alan, the easiest way to show the photos is to put them on Photobucket or one of the other photo hosts. Then post the link to the album here.
www.photobucket.com It is pretty well self explanitory. You do have to go into account options and then settings and set it for "public" so others can look at it without a p***word.

  27. Just saw pics of the Kart, and can't wait to see it in Detroit! The striping looks dead on!

See you in a few days.

i wonder how long the list of custom modifications is for the Kopper Kart....

  29. Thought that I would post these for AJ (I think I read he was having trouble with that). The photo of the Kart in the snow is excellent.

Thank You very much for all of the updates and building a truck that I'll have to see in person. Because of you, I'm playing with my 1/64 Scale Johnny Lighting version a lot more now...

    Good luck this weekend!!

    Happy Trails,

    Mick
