COOL! **** Housey's Plymouth built by old friend Teddy Spehar. First car I ever lettered on! It got wiped off immediately! Long story. Thanks for the pic!

  26. Does anyone have any photos of Macom Durham's old Corvette dragster/funnycar from the Maryland/DC area?
If any were already posted, I missed them somehow. What page?
I grew up and raced during that era and location, and loved it!

    Thanks. Glenn

I know Malcolm had a Strip Blazer Corvair....are you thinking of that or did he also have a Vette?

  28. It was a stretched Corvette, and I think it was BEFORE the corvair. It' was one of his earliest attempts and was also called the Strip Blazer with a nunmber after it. Glenn

  29. #3.008- May 30, 1969- I win Street Eliminator with very quick time for then! (WinCE).JPG
Hey Lee, Do you remember ever seeing my Vette "Dynamotion" run at any of the DC/VA/MD tracks in the late 60's? That's where I saw Malcom's Strip Blazer Vette running. Mostly at Aquasco and Capitol though. Glenn

My dad would've remembered Dynamotion. In fact Glenn, I think the photo you sent me of you racing another blue Vette at Capitol was my dad's car.

I have a lot of photos from that era....let me see if I can find one of Malcolm's Corvette.
