well I don't know where everyone lives, but I'm in the Southwest... 215 and Jones area, lets get somethin started.
a buddy of mine does a hot rod bbq the first sunday of every month at desert breeze park... but I was thinkin of meetin at the omelet house on boulder or this place i've seen called the 50's diner on s jones... i think all the 5 and diners in town have closed down.
same thing happened to me in chicago... i lived a mile from chucks bbq and they started meetin there a month after i moved to the west coast!
ok so I was thinkin the "T-bird" lounge on Warm Springs and Jones... or the 50's diner on Jones north of the 215. Maybe the 2nd or fourth Sunday of each month?
ok i went to that 50's diner on jones and the 215 its a cool place they just opened i guess but i asked them about havin a lil meet up breakfast there and they said we are welcome to come and meet up and park cars and the whole deal food is good lotsa different choices so i was thinkin the third sunday of every month or if it gets a good turnout maybe twice a week ok so lets see what we can do thanx
i wasn't even thinkin til my ole lady reminded me it's easter this sunday, not sure if anyone wants to venture out this week. We will be there, but the cars in the paint shop, like to meet a few of you, let me know. it's the 50's diner on Jones north of the 215. 8:30am-ish
They had something going on over at Studio 21 tattoo over on Flamingo and Jones. I think it was 7 p.m. the first Sunday of the month. I don't know I have never made it over there.

BTW, We meet up every Sat. that we can with the HAMB and EGGERS @ Chucks BarbB Q. in Burbank, IL. There' about a dozen of us on a regular basis. The weather has been cold , looking forward to the weather changing, I am sure we will get a larger crowd once its gets over 40. So you were from the SS of Chicago too? Where about?
hey diamond49 i lived on 79th and kilbourn rite there on cicero ave. i went to chucks about 2 or 3 times a week i just moved from there in july hey when u get here for viva give me a holler ill be havin a bbq also on that sunday after the car show eveyones welcomed to attend also kool thanx well ill be ther this sunday at the 50's diner fer breakfast at 9 so ill be there for everybody to come and hang out

You may have seen Tiger's Rat chopped 49 in the area before you left the Windy city. We live 86th and Oak Park, in Burbank. We've been a few gatherings such as to Geo's Grill at 87/ Narragarret on Friday or Sat. night. Dukes too, but thats not are thing to sit in lawn chairs by our cars. Much rather cruise, and make heads turn.

In the past the guys at Nostalgia street rods at 5375 Cameron st. would leave at 7:30 every sat. morning for breakfast. They might still do it. Anybody could just show up and cruise with them.
maybe we should do saturdays too then... I been wanting to meet Art Goldstrom... I understand he has an amazing collection! I'm game for Saturdays... maybe 8-8:30 though, give my kiddos time to wake up first!

I am right by the T-Bird at 215/Eastern.....there seems to be a breakfast thing there every wednesday, although I havent made it over there yet myself If I can get to DMV tomorrow I will head over ( a couple of us will be there) PS- this is the place on jones in that shopping center named "50s Diner" right??
Thats the place! yeah I heard about the thing at T-bird but I work m-f 6am-2pm so I'd never be able to make that one. Hope to see you out Saturday, seems like we'll have a nice turn out.
id like to make it but im in the middle of opening a tattoo shop at rainbow and 215 roughly. maybe after i get open i can make it out.
