I know I already added these pics to Alex's post ( http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=249584&highlight=kirk ), but I still wanted to do my own because I intended to pair mine up with a giant THANK YOU to Alex and the whole Gambino crew.

They have gone above and beyond on this car and are making a dream come true for me. I have always wanted a fully-flaked, fully-laced, big early-'60s Ford that is a mix of early custom and lowrider influences. I think we're hitting the nail on the head with "MAY CAUSE DANGEROUS"!

Thanks guys for all the hard work and for making me feel at home when I come to visit and work at the shop. You guys deserve all the credit and accolades you are and will be getting.

    We're getting close...

The official food of May Cause Dangerous. Seriously, we have this every night I work on the car with them.

Dave is a true standout on the build of this car. Thanks man! [IMG]

Hey, I did something last night. I laid out the dash panels. Soon to be laced.

Unfortunately, no. I have to work that weekend - it's one of a handful of weekends I absolutely can't get out of working.

I'm (tentatively) planning on driving it to Indy Goodguys in June and then storing out there for a few weeks and drive from Indy to Columbus, then drive it home. Then to Puyallup.

It will be at Paso Maria for sure.

Kirk, I'm sure you could pay off the paint job if you let Carl's Jr. hear the story. I'm sure they would love to use your car for a commercial...maybe they could have Paris Hilton wetsanding it while eating a Santa Fe chicken sandwich!

Man, that car has been amazing from the day Rikster PS'd the paint. ;)

Goes to show you just how much effort goes into a top-shelf paint job. It's no joke! Hats off to everyone at Gambino's for that masterpiece. Kirk you're a lucky guy. Awesome car.
