My dad would've remembered Dynamotion. In fact Glenn, I think the photo you sent me of you racing another blue Vette at Capitol was my dad's car.

I have a lot of photos from that era....let me see if I can find one of Malcolm's Corvette.

The filthy forty. Owned by charlie hill and driven by pork zartman. Pork drove the car to the national win at indy in 1963. It was well known for pulling up the front tires. One of my very favorite cars.

  4. Now I remember about your dad's Vette in my photo.
Did he ever look and decide if it was in fact him and me racing?
Thanks for checking on the M.D's Strip Blazer photos for me.
A lot of work sifting thru all that old stuff. I appreciate the effort.
Funny what things from our past bring back the fondest memeories.

Glenn.....yep, he's pretty certain that was his car. He remembers your Vette, so I'm sure you two raced once or twice.

  10. Mr. Blue,Malcom's first car that could qualify as a funny car was his Chevelle,1965ish.66 through 68,he ran the Covair, with the Camaro coming in late in 68.He continued to run Camaro bodied funny cars until he got out of funny car racing altogether,1972-1973.The only exception to the Camaro funnies was a Chevy II he ran for a short while before turning it over to Western Bunns.Do you think you could be thinking of the "George's Corvette Shop" stretched Corvette from the D.C. area ? 26. Has anyone busted your balls for your screen name and avatar yet?

  27. The memory could be (and probably is) a bit crossed on this one I guess. In fact, George's Vette shop did the repairs (and got me started on my customizing career) on my Vette after I totaled it the second time.
So OK, how about some photo's of Georges stretched Vette then?
Thanks for straigtening me up on Malcom. I'd have lost big money on that bet, though. Glenn
