We don't have a key have already tried taking the Back Apart, but the front of the Key hole/ Turning device wont let the Ignition come out.

If you don't have the key you are out of luck. the key needs to be in and then press pin down and turn to the left or ccw and it should come our

I agree, you need a key or a locksmith. I'd loan you my lockpick set if you're interested. The other option is to drill out the tumbler. I've done it several times. It can be a hassle to get the tumbler loose, but it's an option if you're not trying to save the switch.

Take the door lock to a lock smith there is a code on the lock. The door and the ign were the same key.
With a key turn to the acc position put a paperclip in hole on ign plug continue turning lock counter clock wise. The plug will come out now remove the bezel.

If i remember there is a small hole on the face of the lock cyl. you have to turn the key to acc or the on position and push in a paper clip and pull the cly . out with the key ,and then unscrew the bezel .

i don't know about one that old, but many tumblers/mechanisms are hardened adn that combined with the loose parts in there make for some fun drilling. they make sawzalling tons o fun too...ask how i know :p

unless your locksmith has old books around that none i've talked to have, the code won't do jack. worth a try, not likely. also, if i remember right, you have to remove the bezel first on these to get the cylinder out but they might be different than the ones i'm thinking of.
