Well, I'm back in the show mode again and the 2008 season is officially on! This past weekend was the Orange County Get-Together. It's open to all years of American-powered vehicles, but 98% are '72 and earlier. There was a lot of traditional stuff on hand.

On Friday I did a shop tour at Scandinavian Hot Rods in Huntington Beach. Erik and the guys are doing some amazing stuff.

Here's some of what I saw. More in the June Gazette!

Erik's personal project. It will be flathead powered and do 200+.

Erik built it in Sweden 10 years ago for his brother-in-law. The doors are stretched 3 or 4 inches. Just plain RAD!

  27. Bring the Fonz to Nashville. I have a thimble full of moonshine with his name on it. Maybe we can get him to jump a catfish or something.
