Cannon Ball Taildragger Update...IT RUNS!!

I know it runs, damn I saw it driving last year. We need pics, video, audio, somehting!

 

I've been real busy on other stuff, so there's nothing to update from when I saw you guys last. I just got it running and drove the **** out of it. I'll probably get a few things done before and during the season. Unfortunately, it'll be another year in primer.
O/T, but this is what I spent my time on the past couple of months. It's a '65 Stevens flat bottom drag/ski boat I picked up last year. The Hemi is out and a Nailhead is goin in!
It's finally going back together, then it's back on the Cannon Ball...

 

amazing work on that boat keith, hey, now you got a hemi to play around with, will that go in the next project? oh, and what does that intake hanging up by the 31 grille shell fit?

 

Great looking boat had afew myself back in the seventies. there were alot of drag-ski boats here in Conn. back then . the tree huggers all complaned about the noise & speed and that kinda ended it. there's just a handful around here now.

 

Sweet, match the paint on the Cannon Ball to the paint on the boat and tow it around. You could be just like Dave with his Merc and the Shortser...

Can we go out fishing in it one afternoon and get some sun?

haha...that's actually what my plan is. The coupes going to get painted the same dark red color, I shot the boat so I could get a good look at it and make sure I liked it...I like it!!
I already had the boat behind the Chevy at the Gathering in Marion.

If we go fishing I'm sure Daves going to want to rub the sun screen on, he worries about our skin ya know! haha

You most definately WON'T see scallops on the Cannon ball in my life time!

 

I bet we'll probably end up fighting over who gets to put it on him. You can get one side of his back and I'll get the other, haha.
