My 10 year old daughter is my crusing buddy, she is always up for a ride in the hot rod or bike she took this video today leaving the local cruise <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/nM-GZX9Yfz8&hl=en"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/nM-GZX9Yfz8&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
That's cool Scott. My 10 year old daughter is chompimg at the bit to go for a ride in the 55 but around here it's still in the 30's with lots of road salt still hangin around. It's great to keep seeing the real young kids wanting to be involved. Hope the interest stays
I love her enthusiasm. Reminds me of my 2 daughters at that age. Now in thier 20's they are really starting to get "it". I hope you two get alot of time together cruzin.
It's a great time for you to be together. My daughter used to love to hear the Small Block get power shifted at 6500. You both will always have these great memories. Best wishes to you all. The FOGGER
Bro, those sounds of laughter are freaking PRICELESS! I truly believe that no one appreciates a hot rod the way a child does. They're like Hot Wheels you can ride in!
Seems like just last week my daughter was 10 !she will be 18 in a few months. She is definately a teenager now ,drama- moods- drama-and wow what an I know it all attitude enjoy it I miss her at that age .But I have faith she will be back to her normal self soon ,pray to GOD IT IS SOON!
I still only have one seat in mine,so I can't share it with anyone yet! Great video.Sounds like she's having a blast...
You got that right--my daughter is 23 now--when she was a pre-teen,we'd go everywhere--my son is 18 now--he used to go with me till he got to be like 15--then the "old man" sydrome hit!
That made me SMILE BIG TIME.Can't wait to take my Granddaughter out in my 'A' Coupe once it's done.Nice video man.
As a father of a 14 year old girl I can tell you to enjoy, cherish, photograph and take every opportunity to spend time with her. As the saying goes all good things come to a end. For me that has been the discovery of boys, cell phones, cheerleading and a host of other activities. We can only hope that the impression made will endure throughout what I call the distraction period and they will return to enjoying what "The Old Man Does" and make it one of their passions.
Lucky guys, lucky guys. My daughter doesn't enjoy the cruises or shows. I wish she did. My 16month old son enjoys them, or he did last summer.
I am on the the grandkids as hot rod companions- grandkids think you are pretty cool anyway, and having hot rods is almost cheatin'. My kids grew up getting dropped off at school in the flamed panel truck- they never seemed to hate that. Rodshop
the only way to express it is THATS COOL! reminds me of my first ride in a hopped up jalopy 34 coupe. Same kinda interior, same kinda sound, same kind of excitement, and the feel of POWER! I,m sure she will remmbr this time with Dad! I guess I will havto wait till my 3yr old grandaughter gets that old.
Made me glad the other day when my two girls ( 5 + 7 ) fought over who was gonna ride with me in the "old car" and who was with momma in the new car
Thats awsome Scott! Man i'm glad your having good times in your hot now. Less garage time, more road time. D's loving that fact too i can tell. Ride on!
Man O Man is that kid having a great time or what??? I taught my twin daughter's to drive in my '58 Chevy wagon way back in 1989. They called it the "Red Dinosaur", great times!
