Here's a Caddy I have been working on.

 

Its an 1885 Benz Patent Motorwagen - the first purpose built petrol powered automobile and the wellspring for it all. Pictured here at Retromobile Paris in Feb 2008

Just started detailling the 347 Pontiac in my modified - but there's not a lot available off the shelf so I'm making or adapting stuff. Not in this picture but I have just fitted a really neat fuel filter off a Huey on the firewall.

Wow, great collection of "traditional" stuff. But, just because someone makes, or did make, a part that will fit your engine, etc does not mean you have to install it. The Low Ridders have to have every accessory ever made on their Bombs, Billet Guys have to have every billet part, etc. An engine, a car, etc should be done with some forethought and class. Not just a bolt on bling-bling whore. Some cars the owner will say it is done, others are not done as long as they can bolt on one more goodie. My 2 cents.
