sonofabitch in an E250 van was in the lane directly to my right and he turned left right into me without even looking, then ran me into the curb at the intersection.

He has insurance and I'll make sure they pay.

I didn't get hurt and I didn't try to kill the other driver.

I had actually thought about riding my motorcycle today. I'm glad I didn't but I wish I would have taken the Dodge truck instead of the roadster.

Damn, I'm not having a good year so far.

I am really, really bummed for you. It's great you weren't hurt, but it's sad to see your car like that. Hope you get everything you need to make things right.

The main part of the body is pretty much OK. It's a little sprung because the frame is bent. The entire front suspension is toast as well as the right front fender. The hood and grille are probably worth saving just because they are gennie parts but, it'll take a bunch of patient metal work to do it. The frame and suspension are all repop parts so those can be easily replaced.

people just dont watch whats going on around them. Sorry about the car, glad your OK

  13. Wow, that sucks! Glad you're okay!

I hope you can get it straightened out and back together without too much hassle.

That front shot sure illustrates how forged I-beams bend instead of breaking.

  14. Oh shit that hurts to see. Sorry to hear (& see) this....

That was an EXPENSIVE hood. Original grille & shell too. Maybe you can save those....... but I'd still try my best to get his insurance to cover the cost of equal condition/value replacements.

Glad you weren't on that motorcycle today Don.

what a shame...looks like an original car that has survived over 75 years and then some dude ruined it...i thought i felt bad when my '60 ranchero got hit this january, i can't imagine owning a 32 ford and getting that hit..my car was parked and the lady decided to run after she hit my car...few days later we found the car...and now she will be paying. I give you credit for not ending that person's life...

  19. Glad to hear you're ok.

Heck, the other driver probably figures it was just an old car.

Wait'll he finds out what Deuce parts cost.

    Yessir . . . About $400,000. ought to cover it....:D

Glad that know one was hurt and hate to see that happen to anyone and know how much you worked on it to get it to this stage. At least you have something to drive while you get it fixed the way that you have always wanted to. Well will this go in front of the caddy ?

OMG, I can't believe what I am seeing. My stomach hurts just looking at those photos. I'm so sorry this happened to you Don. Like others have said, at least you weren't hurt. Shit if wasn't for bad luck, you'd have no luck lately. I think it's been three things, I'll pray this is the end of it.:(

Man, I know an accident is an accident but
    negligence deserves an ass whipping.
I think I would have issued one.
