I was thinking about putting these on my el camino. Does anyone run these? Also how are they held on? Any pictures? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks.

If your El Camino looks as low lifed as the wagon and Chebbie, go for it. Otherwise they would be out of place. I'm still digging that double mirror from the other thread, never saw one before.

They are way cool. They go on rear window like back in the day. They are on sale now on E bay. Look up Lowrider Rabbit ear Antenna or go to JimmyDenterprises.com. best to bid on ebay. I bought 2. One for 85.00 and one for 55. Good luck. They really make your car look cool and great Lowrider accesory. better not wait cause they are not always available. good luck homie. they are very authentic. I jsut took the wires off and use them for looks, butt..they really work!! vatoLoco

That's gonna suck having to keep your windows rolled up, though.

  26. Holy shit guys! I must be one dumb old bastard, but a hundred bucks for that? I had an '82 Suburban and in '84 bought a small B/W TV that would also run on 12V so had the brilliant idea that with a pair of those same rabbit ears (which were about $12 at Radio Shack) we could entertain the kids with TV on trips. What I didn't consider is the average TV station, when received with rabbit ears, probably has a range of about 10-20 miles. So, about the time the kids would tune in a program they'd get to watch a few minutes and then lose the picture and start whining. I threw the rabbit ears away after the trip and had to listen to the spouses razzing about "another dumb-ass" idea for years after.
Have fun with 'em. I'm sure I have crap on my car today that would make most others says WTF.

  27. hell yeah run them but where in the hell are ya puttin them on a elky???.I had them in my 65 ss impala lowrider back in the 70s/80s, I still dig the shit outa them....Vida who????

I would consider running those on my 57.. but would have to find a visor first. to ensure I had some options bolted on.

    anyone have a visor for a 57...
