Here's my pics from today's awesome event hosted by The Scroungers!

A real pleasure to meet KiwiKiv and Savage who are down here as guests of the Scroungers. I'm sure they'll have lots to comment about the event when they get back and I know they were blown away with the turnout and amount of traditional hotrods on display.

It rocks bigtime...
Makes me proud to be a Kiwi to see these awesome cars and on the net across the world virtually as it is happening.

It's a bloody awesome annual event. Well done to the Scroungers
I'll post some more pictures later on, but just wanted to put these 2 in, having used Rustydeuces wheel covers as reflectors.

Best traditional hotrod event NZ has ever seen!

Left after the dragsters fired up to signify the end of the show.

Better than turning up 'fashionably late' 1/2 an hour before the show ends like you did ya big dork!

Also, the Scroungers show was bitchin. Along with Kiwi Kev and SAVAGE we also had bardahl1 (Marshall Topping) and his friend Ron Keilwtz in attendance fron CA. It was a blast to cruise early morning up the freeway in Project 29 - AWESOME!

 

its kinda weird seeing this car on another continant... i had this car for a week. someone has their hands full.

 

Was a great show, loved the new venue was it just me or was that much bigger crowd then previous years, unfortunatly didn't get to be out and about as much as I hoped between the stall and my 6 y/old helper..... Good to catch up with Kev and Aaron.
I saw that olds arriving and was hoping someone got some pics, by the looks its Cert'd and rego'd too hope to get a decent look at it sometime.
Well done to the Scroungers and the folks from the Kart club looked like a very sucessfull day, Nostalgia drags next weekend anyone ??
