In a quest for finding some Lions drag strip decals for my Lennie "Pop" Kennedy (KB/Reynolds) car I restored I came across this
    http://www.garageart.com/products_l...!&Category2=Lions~Drag~Strip~DVD&Cat=Category

that has a couple dvd's (among other neat thing) about Lions and the racers there at the time.
I watched both dvd's....awesome!!! I really highly recommend them.
If you like this thread, you will love watching the dvd's. A lot of pics of the cars shown here are on the dvd's and in real motion!!!!!

I was at the Nationals, I think it was 66, when Gene Snow's Rambunctious ran C/FD because he didn't fit in A/FX. We really had mixed emotions because we liked the little injected dragsters. Rambunctious and the other cars like it had been putting on awesome match races that summer and we thought there'd be some great races. If I remember right most of the injected dragsters would take him out of the hole, then he'd catch them at top end, the picture shows the opposite. Those were the days.
Does anybody have a picture of an A/A called Plain Vanilla, I think it won best appearing or best engineered right around then. It was a red 23 T, with an injected chevy if I remember right.

Here's the Plain Vanilla roadster. Sorry it's not a color shot.

searching for photos/video/anything for a black 1940 sedan from the the late 80's/early 90's. It had a blown hemi (?), was stock bodied, and ran at the early nostalgia drags. the cool part was the original steering wheel and column shift running v quick. i figured if i'm ever gunna find anything, it'll be here....

    Steve,
you are probably thinking of Jerry Moreland's car. It had a blown big block in it and later ended up on the street if I remember correctly.
