Im looking for a gauge panel for my 40 Deluxe. Im going to use a round Stewart Warner speedo, and the matching gauges. Haneline makes a panel for 2 large gauge clusters, and all the others Ive found so far for round gauges in a 40 dash are those gawd awful billet ones. Is there a company out there Im overlooking that might make a 3 gauge panel Speedo and 2 auxillery gauges? I tried making one out of some plate aluminum I had but it looks like S***.
You could make a pattern that you want to use,(Wood & Bondo) then have a job lot foundry cast you one.then you polish and place the holes where you want, size you want....I have done that with other small pieces..We have a small job lot foundry in Dallas.uses either alum or brass....want details?e=mail me wbrw32@aol.com
Yeah ...aluminum wheels, rocker covers, vally pans, all sorts of cool stuff. Even my alternator case is made from the stuff.
