Yup!!! Not Going... Really bummed... But Shes been fighting us for days.... So Luke and I have been busting *** for our trip to Texas getting all the **** that needs to be done in time to leave or at least get it running and dial it there.... So we got to the point firing up the motor and we ran across issues quite a few... 1. water pump leaking on a big deal we were going to get one in TX... 2. oil leaking bad... Luke busted his *** and pulled the motor out and change a plug in the oil chamber the when it was rebuilt some one put one in with a hole drilled in it???? so he fixed it and got the motor back in buy the next day...with no sleep... well I get here and we got back to putting it all back together after spending all day onit.. We fire it and it almost runs... so damm close!!!! then we turn it over and Click Click Click... NOT TURNING OVER ANY MORE :O and it wouldn't turn by hand,,, we pulled the plugs still won;t go.. Well after we pull heads and oil pan still nothing... So at this point its a serious issue... after looking at what its going to cost me to repair the car i will not be able to attend this years Lone Star Round Up,,,, I can't believe that I'm typing this right now...so disapointed in the whole situation.. But good will come out of it!!! I know it will... So to all my friends that will be there burn one for LIVE WIRE!!! And Shout at the Devil
Ouch dude! You put on a mastercl*** with the building of this awesome car....now you're having to teach a new lesson....in humility and patience (and maybe saving up cash??) to get it all JUST RIGHT. We're all here waiting and watching.....it's MUCH harder to do it RIGHT....and thats how we show our respect for the artists who came before us. I bow to your efforts!
Hey Evel, check for a siezed wristpin, I have had 3 people I know get bit by that, almost exact same symptoms as yours (without the plug with the hole in it), 1 Chevy, 1 Ford, 1 Buick. Hope that helps. ****s not getting to go.

Bummer on the motor. I'm in the same situation also. After getting my first ride a few weeks ago I discoverd a baddly spun and chewed rod bearing. No MFS booth at the Roundup. Where am I gonna sit all day at now?????
What is "Show performance standards"??? nope never alive...but now its really dead... We put the car together 3 day for GNRS there was allot to do in little time..didn't want to rush it... Been working on it since the week after GNRS 4 days a week...and many late nights..to get it running and driving for Lone Star this was the final thing we needed to do....most every thing else in done... So i'll get it ready for Rod And Kulture Drags and Santa Maria....
