Don't know about the blue car but the other appears to be familiar. This is Hank Gabbert's car at Meadowbrook in 2006. -Jim

To correct my own post, I believe the sister car owned by Ronnie Sox just said Mr 427 on the lower fender instead of Mr 427 II, so it is possible it is the sister car possibly-Jim

I've been trying to track that blue '63 for a long time. You must have gotten that pic from Joel.

NOBODY knows anything about it!!! Believe me, I've tried!

Here's Hank's car off the line at Collinsville a few years ago. The next year at Henderson Mr. Wilson launched it and broke the rear.

I never saw it run personally; but saw it in Eastern Drag News back in the day. Did Plymouth make "D" Valients like Dodge made the infamous "D" Darts?

  27. This was one of the sister cars to the Inbomber, all out of Nebraska. Inbomber, Tension, and Good In Tension. This car ran a hydraulic cammed 270hp 283 while Inbomber ran the solid cam 283hp 283. Both cars run the same home made ladder bars and ran fenderwell headers, Good In Tension's being chromed. Tension still exists today as a purple street rod.

  29. Is that car still around? I may have seen it at the Englishtown Fall Flea-Market last year.
It was in the visitor parking lot. The car I had seen was an old drag car being drivin on the street now. No lettering ,but quite a few period mods were still there. Frank

  30. I'm not sure if it's around or not. I haven't seen it since back in the day.
