Piero, I think Dave is just mad that you didn't take your car to Hagen Hot Rods to get it finished. ****, if they can do all that work in such a short period of time I will just drop off a load of sheetmetal to them and have my running car in a week. Ya thanks Ryan it would of been a party...I would be pulling into town as we speak... So Luke pulled the motor today...I made a trip to see the damage... doesn't look good.. but its getting all pulled apart tomorrow and will know more... I guess its a good time for a cam and my Stude Rockers...

UPDATE: So I got the call of doom today..the motor is SHOT!!! it seemd they put new bearings in it at some point but thats about it... it needs a full rebuild rings are shot, cam is gone, the cylinder wall need to be board... etc... Look like a good time to put in that Isky cam ****s...but it will be a kick *** motor NOW!!!

I challenge you to a motor build off (Hahaha!). I'm checking the 389 in the 60' Pontiac and may end up doing a rebuild too(good excuse to really learn). Good luck! You definitely have some Good folks to help as well. Ken
