We just got our parts chasing truck on the road. Made me wonder....might be interesting to see what other shops are using to grab parts.
Yours is waaay prettier than mine, but mine was made to be beat on. Got any more pics of your little Chevvie?? -Abone.
Our Chrysler dealership picked up a 40 Dodge panel delivery to use as a parts delivery truck.Big block Chevy though......
2000 dodge dakota sport, parts chaser, work transportation, and all around ass hauler specifically mine. later shawn
I suppose my '60 F100 is a "shop truck" of sorts ... it's my only vehicle and my daily driver, but I do haul the occasional engine, etc. And then there's the scrap metal ...
There is another thread about shop trucks already, but I'll post the 62 that I bought, and built for a shop truck, and use daily.
My 'shop truck' is my daily driver '01 Ford Ranger. I drive it enough that I have 191,000 on it over six years (I bought in in '02 with 7800 miles on it). One million miles or bust!
55 Dodge C-3-B Rattles and sounds like crap but its light on gas and can haul more then I will ever need.
This was my last cool shop truck. Use to buy gas with left over quarters. Got rear ended at 55 mph. Sold it to a guy in Penn. Its orange now . Now I have a 3/4 ton Chevrolet from hell, has been hit 3 times now, but it cant be killed!
79 GMC 1-ton Crew Cab Dually. It's a parts chaser, dump run, Home Depot going, dog hauler. Thank god I do not need to commute with it. 454 does not make for easy to take gas bills at todays prices!
