Coop... Love the Pixle stuff. Good, legit way to go insane. well done.

Janne.. Great work!

Well, I have been busy... I got all my artwork done, and now I have Sprint cars to build.

Here is some of the more enjoyable stuff I did..

Guy says "can you put my buddy's name on his helmet for him?"
I say, "sure, whats his name"
Guy says "Shit Stain"
I say, "all one word, or two"

Never ever, ever, ever EVER, give up or let discouragement take hold of you. At one point in my life; (In College) I was considering giving up photography and switching my major to something sensible. I was discouraged and wondered if I really could make it as a photographer.
I remember once I was at Ed Roth’s house in Manti Utah (after he passed away), hanging on the wall in his living room was a hand written note in a frame. Essentially it said we all have at least one god given talent and it up to us to pursue it, and if it’s the only thing we know, and you get down, tell em’ Big Daddy said Man this is all I know and Im doing it”
Well it said something like that anyway. The point is if this man could make a living drawing a wicked dirty rat and airbrushed monsters, why the hell couldn’t I make a living taking pictures? I only have a granule of talent, but I work my ass off at making that granule turn into two granules.
Yeah sure Im a corporate magazine whore, but it beats taking wedding photos or kiddie candids at Walmapart or Kamapart.
Anyway, take photos cause first it pleases you and your creative itch, then show them to the world. Those that get it, get it and those that don’t’ won’t. Fuck them anyway

REALLY dig the painting!!! Kind of Ausgang-esque, and I very much mean that as a compliment. Extremely pleasing to my eye! Very cool!!!

On the subject of art...I hope you all can read this. It's from the late dancer Martha Graham, but applies to anyone who is compelled to make what they consider to be their art. You may have to click on the 'title' below and download it to your computer but it'll be worth it. I get much comfort from her words. I hope you will, too.

I dig this one. I keep reminding myself to shoot the detail stuff instead of the whole car...

22. Thanks Coop...I have taken so many 'full car' shots of local cars, that I take parts now rather than the whole thing....Be surprised what you will see...

Here are a couple pictures of the shift lever I am working on. Not done, but since this started with Metal, I thought someone might like to see it.

and to prove that variety is the spice of life, a small boxed canvas painting. It's not rod related but shows my manga influences and love of tattoo'd chicks! lol

Guys & Gals, Im looking for a drawing for a new tattoo I want to get. Its of the Cat of the Stray Cats band logo. Would appreciate any renderings of the Cat or pics with your own spin of the logo. You can send them to my E-Mail address or post here.
