Here's the deal, my son Courtland is 15. Many of you know him here. He's been bankrolling this project the best he can and has come a long way. The truck is in Grandma's garage and we THOUGHT we had until May before she came back from Florida. Well, a cousin is getting married on the 26th of April so Gma thought she'd better be home the 19th in anticipation.

That doesn't give us much time so I thought, while I've still got a place to do it, I'd throw a thrash to try to get his truck somewhere closer to completion.

Engine and trans are in now. I'm working on the trans mount and a few other things. The brakes are junk. I'm going to pick up all new calipers and rotors this week as well as the rear drum set up. I think I need backing plates as well. I'm sure the cylinders are shot. There are no lines, either.

Lucky77 and some of the Bay City rollers have some brake line stuff that they can bring (Fab32 and Fuel Pump I believe). I'll make a pot of sloppy joes and a cooler of soda and waters.

The house is closed (as in no water until the 18th) so we'll have to find a potty, run up to the Golden Arches or out to the bushes!

    Any help would be appreciated.

Plan for Sunday the 13th (this Sunday). NAPA is our local parts source and they are only open 10-2 so if you can be here at 10, cool. I'll be there!

PM me for directions or head for RIGA, MI. I'm sure you can find us! I'm not up to posting my mother in laws address since she's not there to shoot at any tressp***ers for another week!

LOVE to be there and help support my favorite 15 year old hot rod pal but I've made plans with Megan already to attend the Chopper show in Cleveland on Sunday. PM me the address though and on the way home if it's not too late I'll stop by.

Thanks, D. Will do. Court is always up to see Megan if you want to bring her along!! He may not say much but I can guarantee he'll turn red and stumble around. He does that EVERY time.

I wish I could attend and offer another pair of hands but my girlfriend decided we're having a BD party for her son this Sunday.
    Good luck with the project.

C'mon ya slugs:D let's help the kid out. Anybody north of Bay City can stop by my place and ride with me if you want. Probably stopping by Detroit on the way home for a while though.

    Dan,
I'd love to help out but my grandchildren from New York are staying with us this weekend. We don't get to see them very often so the car stuff will have to wait. I won't even get to see Frank this weekend:eek::rolleyes:

Thanks, Rich. I appreciate you thinking of us. Enjoy the grandkids but if you want to come to the funny farm, we've got 22 goat babies, almost 80 goats in total, 50 chickens, 4 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 bunnies. Also got a 48 Sedan Delivery needing love, 4 '54 Chevy truck cabs, a few frames, and 5 tractors! Plenty of work to be done.

Maybe I'll get lucky and I'll see Frank. I'll take the glider down so he has a place to rest.

HRLC, that boy doesn't have any hopes. Just hormones! Last year at Autorama, Gene Winfield agreed with him though!

Looks like a decent turn out so far. I had only planned on getting the brakes completed but if anyone has a spare intake gasket and can tell me what I need to get to finish off the puke tube in the back of a 327 (I read the other post but don't know what all I need) I'll get that as well so we can get the engine ****oned up.

Don't drink coffee but I'll find you some! I think it is the million mile an hour stare. He's been under the weather a bit so we hit it hard when we have time. Last Saturday he was dead when we left! 3 miles to our house and he dozed off on the way!

Pretty pavement so she won't get your car dirty, Randy! You can park at the church down the block if you won't get hit by lightening!

If it is, it is. You can sell the car and bring the money with you. I'm sure we could use it wisely!
