That is so *****en you guys really have a cool car there Juice brakes and a dropped axel would be fun.
Well, we cuss the Kansas wind but it is a friend to sheet metal. And the car is not rust free. Just real solid and not much rust.
It would be a shame to waste it building a belly-dragging, lot-lizard, "shock rod". I'd have a hard time cutting much on that car. Ford's designers really knew their ****. A dropped axle & reversed eye springs is about all that one needs. JH
Great find. Hope I can find one close to that nice one day. Just when it seems like they are all gone, another pops up.
geeze Paul, nice score. You must be single handily cleaning up Kansas with all the stuff you come up with.
I've seen this car pic before' Didn't someone post it last week. hope you fond it from that post or maybe your post!
I say drive it if it's not too much trouble. That way you get a feel as to how the original A drove way back when. Video and record it for later and after you make a hot rod out of it you can make another video comparing the two. That would be priceless. Have fun with it. It's an opportunity of a life time and when you're in that rockin' chair in your "golden years" you can whip out the video and show it to the grand kids. That would be a great do***entary and many people would love to see it.
Good find!! Sure beats the overpriced stuff around here. That's a just right A-Bone. Dropped axle, 16's, rev eyes: you're done. And they threw in the extra roof, too Maybe that helped save the floor. What about the open car behind it? Packard? That's something
The extra roof sold to a lady separately for $300. The car next to it was a '25 Buick roadster that was not for sale. This was at the Lincoln, KS auction. About 800 registered bidders and a 2 day sale. Buyers from nationwide.
