    I finally can contribute something..
Captured GOLDMEMBER in Sequim, Washington - back in 2005.
Here's what i believe to be correct:
    Model A Ford
    Engine: 37 Buick -364 c.i.' nailhead',
    Trans: th400 + 9" Ford rearend,
    Grill: 36 Buick,
    Headlights: 39 Pontiac,
    Air cleaner: 41 Buick headlamp
I met the owner ,George ( last name escapes me) at a the Sequim Irrigation Festival back in 2005-
I remember George wanting to hit the Bonneville Salt Flats , If I remember, he said he was a regular.
I really dug the look of the car- front to back top to bottom...
any can fill in the blanks on this one- such as where is the car now????

  6. The 57 Ranchero belongs to the owner of "Tucker Tire" in Covina Ca.
He still owns it and brings out once in awhile. Has an injected FE.

Here is my idea of what I would have built if I was old enough to have a car in the 60's. I still need to do the tuck and roll inside and the bumpers on the outside. i am going to paint the hood sides and see how it looks with them also. Darrell (fordcpe)

Love all of the old snap-shots fella's, keep 'em comin'

  27. I remember the show, and the car. Grabowski built it, and sold it to Kaye Trapp of Winkle & Trapp Magicar fame.

  28. This 59 Bird was my daily driver from 63 to 70. 65 to 70 it was a family car. Many thought it was inspired by Watson's Bird, but it wasn't. Junior Conway had a Bird that was shaved, slammed, and painted the deepest candy ruby red I ever saw, and the top was pearl white. No scallops, panels, or striping. It oozed class. Junior's bird never got any ink that I know of. I fell in love with that car, sold my 57 Bel Air, and bought the 59. I bent up the receding tube grill from conduit as described in the April 62 R&C. Nosed and decked it, filled the door bullets, and molded the scoop. Dean Jeffries buddy, Jim Burrel painted it 63 Corvette Satin Silver. It was probably, of all the cars I've owned, my favorite driver. :)
