You really turned that car around! It looks a million times better with the new colors ... and that 327 is gonna be a rip with the 5-speed.
i think you should paint it hot pink and put thin whires on it with black painted steelies- then lift it up like 10 inches with 33's on it and move to manteca-
Damn Tommy--Love the new color & look!! That chopped purple 56 is off the hook & the maroon 55 Chev hrdtp with the 54 Chevy turnsignals mated to the corvette grill is an old kustom from NY. I hated how the 54 sections were used cause it threw off the whole front of the car to me but regardless i always dreamed of owning that car someday. From what i understand its in Texas now...Anyone know if this is true?
that color orange is pretty bad ass in person- i saw it saturday and that thing has a good sheen to it- i'm still waiting for that thing to do a burnout on my street- do it tommy v!!! lay a patch
Looks damn nice...colors, stance are all pretty sweet. Fatter whites would be cooler, but roast the old ones off first, and post a video of you doing it.
hey, I just saw that thing on saturday getting fill-up at the Arco in Livermore. It really caught my eye, (enough to make me decide I needed gas all of a sudden too). I didn't know that it was a HAMBER's car. Kudos! that thing looks Waaaaaay better now.
heres some i like...I like to see these cars as kustoms, seems like everyone is makin em gassers not that i got anything against em but i like to see the oddity tri five kustom. Bubble skirts look awesome on these cars!!!
lowered more and tucked the front bumper...just because I'm bored...and got rid of that seam in front of the wheel opening..hate those unsightly things
cool thread, anyone got anymore pics? my girl's dad has a hardtop 55 that's been sitting for years because "he's going to restore it someday". i'm hoping he'll leave me it in his will
oh tommy v - i miss that ride- i miss my local in town homie now yah moved to manteca with 33 inch tires on it with 4 wheel drive on a custom- miss ya buddy!
Here is one I wrote about several years ago. The whole story and lots of Trent Sherrill photos can be found here if anyone wants: https://ironandsteele.com/blogs/news/what-the-doctor-ordered
