This may sound like a really stupid question. But does anyone know where the hell the fill plug is for the rear diff on my 1950 plymouth? I see the drain plug. But I have been all over that thing and cannot find the fill plug. It's the damnedest thing i've ever seen and driving me nuts.

Don't know about a '50 but if it's like the later 8.75 rear with a drop out gear carrier, it's probably on the side of the gear carrier.

  3. Are you sure it even has a drain plug? Is that one you see on the very bottom of the banjo? You might be looking at the one and only plug which is actually the fill one...

That's what I was afraid of but a couple people have told me its definitely the drain plug. But no one can seem to tell me exactly where the fill is at. I've been all over that thing. Lowered cars are cool but damn it sucks getting underneath em. I need to install a lift in my garage. :)
