  11. Nice, very nice. I like the exhaust.
Could you post a pic of how your brake pedal linkage joints to the MC, please.

Does anyone sell the little bolt on cup for the front wishbone socket? Sorry if I am hijacking.

Nice...I like your selective use of plating.

Looking forward to seeing this car come together.

The ch***is is base coat/clear coat that was done at the body shop. The rest I did with bill hirsh and SEM products.

The body is just going to be base coat for now. I plan on getting it going and see if I am happy with it, then it will get painted gloss like the frame.

Here is a better picture. This is a kit that the early V8 garage makes. I bought it a long time ago when I was looking for a 32 pedal set up. The cool thing about this one is you don't have to cut and reweld the arm on the brake lever. It does work very well.

I am not sure about the wishbone cup. One would think they would.

great looking ch***is! i couldn`t tell from the photos, did you box the front portion of the frame? the reason i ask is, i`m collecting parts to build an early style roadster and iv`e been thinking about weather or not to box the front portion of the frame. i was thinking about recessing the boxing plate pretty deep into the frame rail, so it would not be so obvious. i know that it would reduce the effectiveness of the boxing plate.i`d be interested in your comments. and also, can you use the original battery carrier with that master cylinder arragement? thanx.

awesome looking ch***is! is it just me or does it look like it has a bit of positive camber in the front end?? looks like lincoln or F1 brakes, what spindles are you using??

  28. Super nice frame dude with nice details,....I esp like how the headers are barely visible below the bottom of the frame rails !!

    Sano....

    To answer your questions.

I am not a good authority on boxing, but it seems if you are using a flathead you should be be fine, anything bigger boxing plates are needed. I have a gusset at the front crossmember that catches the motor mounts.

You can use the original battery box but it will show below the frame if you do not have running boards to hide it. Dirty 31 made his own and raised his battery.

The brakes are original 41 lincoln front and rears with 2" shoes and reproduction lincoln drums. The hubs are early ford style (40 to 48) that mount inside the drum. The spindles are early ford round back (I think 37 to 39).

I noticed the camber also. My wheel lugs are just hand tight because they are coming back off so that may be adding to it.
