If you guy`s have nothing to do tomarrow (Fri. 4/18), then come on out to the Lowes parking lot between about 10-2pm for a small car show that we whipped up. The folks at Lowe`s are wanting to pull in some business/contractors so they want you to bring your rides out to entice business in. There will be NO registration fee, they will feed particpants from the grill, there will be a few awards handed out AND there will be some cool door prizes including a Lincoln mig welder and other tools. Time: 10ish till 2ish Place: Lowes on Conley Rd. at 63 and I-70 Registration fee: FREE!! Food:FREE!! Cool: Door prizes!! Keep in mind, this is FRIDAY....FRIDAY....TOMARROW!!!! (not my idea!!)

tony, some of us still have to work m-f 8-5. otherwise i'd be there. i'm sure that you've explained to whomever that friday isn't going to be condusive to drawing many participants. maybe they didn't believe you, but when no one shows up they'll get the message. wish i could be there. i'd sure rather go to a car show than to go to work!
Mike quit acting like a SISSY!! I am going to win the welder. Looks like 3 guys will be there. Please have them wrap my welder up in plastic so that it won't get water spots on it. Just kidding. My truck is getting some TLC and a windshield seal and the fish are biteing
I gotta say, for a Friday show (on short notice) it was pretty decent. I guess all the free stuff including good BBQ (pork steaks,chicken,burgers and dogs) brought 21 nice rides in! The reason it was on a Friday is because it was actually a contractor sales event, they just wanted some eye candy to draw the contractors in. I told those jokers that I couldnt throw a good show together on a Friday in one month`s time without something to bring them in, so... they gave out some nice stuff and it was a pretty good little show considering the rain! I was surprised!
