What's the Holy Grail of rare parts?

    Not really speed parts, but very cool. Woodlite type E. These were new old stock and went for about $850 AUS

    This thread made my mouth water...foam even.
    Those Mickey Thompson Ford heads would be REAL hard to find...I understand that the only set ever made are still on the Thunderbolt that originally wore them.
    o.k....I'll settle for a "Drag axle"
    ............unimaginably cool stuff on here...

    There is a single for sale on eBay. However they are rare enough that one of the heads from the Thunderbolt was damaged and replaced with one from M/T's FE digger that is in his 1964 performance guide. I can't believe someone hasn't bought that head for a replacement yet.

    A pair of the M/T Hemi Pontiac heads would be a good start toward putting a Brutus tribute car together.

    For me right now. Any race parts for a ford 300 six. Anyone know the whereabouts of any of that stuff, especially magnetos and intakes or special heads(did they make those?) let me know. I found a mag once but i couldn't afford it. go figure.

    5 spoke American's found me a pair of those also.Next on the list,Weiand Drag Star for a big block mopar.

    Offy 270 hemi 4 barrel intake, 701 pieces cast. I managed to screw myself out of a deal on one of these. dumb. going for at least a thousand bucks now.

    My 'Holy Grail' would have to be an aluminum head for my 218 flathead six that doesn't cost $1000+.

    Well, that and all the stuff the previous owner of my car threw away!

    Maybe these are not quite holy grail stuff but still pretty cool, and up for grabs. Pm me if interested....
    1946 Hexagon Tool Indy car manifold, notice the carbs mount backwards.... very trick!
    Early and very clean Edmunds heads, they don't repop these guys.....

    thats the shit, a buddy of mine has a overhead twice cammed HAL conversion. Bangers are not my cup of tea but I respect them none the less....
