You mods are fast! I just got the porn PM from Jalopy Jenny (cool name, too bad it was a spammer) and I went into my PMs to delete it, and it was already a non-specified private message, within minutes, erased from the banks for good. Most excellent, keep up the good work fellas. -KK

I just came onto the site to find a private message from LOLcunt (I think, since I hastily deleted it). Time (Eastern) is 13:20. Not a very nice introduction to the site. I was all excited, my first private message!
Mine was from Jalopy Jenny also. I went to search the member out first, found none went back to pm and it was gone. Thanks for the fast clean up Ryan. I originally thought it was from one of the local guys I told about the site pulling my ?
I think the only way to get rid of it is to make it so you have to pay to sign up, and I don't think anyone wants that.
This is a kinda new manner of spamming forums. A lot of the old ways have been rather easy to catch. In another forum I'm on, we put this one in the bag by not allowing the use of PM's until a member has a post count of 25. It seems to have nipped it in the bud.

It's just spam man, don't take it personally. I'd pre-proof anything I was about to show my kids on the net...
I got one too. The folks doing this can ruin a good guestbook or message room. I don't know how you can stop it but I'd hate to see something like this overshadow a neat site like this. I hope you can nip it in the bud before it gets out of hand.
we get over 100 spam entries a day... we miss one every now and then, but we are pretty damn good at fighting it. This one taught us a lesson.
