is there a way that you can show a straight on side profile? In these pics it looks like the back half of the roof is gonna look a little "droopy". It seems like it would have looked better if you had cut the back half of the roof off right above the quarter window, then down behind it, and across the back and raised it up and then filled it in, if you know what I mean. But maybe I'm just seeing it wrong in the pics.

I know what you are saying but It's hard to see it all sitting up on the table so high in the air. I plan to get it off the table this next week and get it to ride height. Then make some changes if needed.

    Thanks Man,

Here it is. Project stalled a little until my coupe is done, but plans call for another 2" chop and a swept frame. The filler piece in the roof is out of an early 90's honda.

Very nice work. What did you use for the back of the cab?

Just so there's no confusion, I didn't build it. I bought it as a running truck. The guy I bought it from did a fantastic job of turning a bunch of random panels into a truck cab. I like it cause there is a tiny bit more leg room. Unfortunately the good fabwork ended at the body, I had to throw the frame out, and sell the rest. The back of the cab came from a 30 pickup, the doors, I'm not so sure. Throws people off though...

Here's one I'm putting together. Bought a 2 door sedan front half and a PU rear, '29 2 dr quarters I had at the shop. Had an AA frame so I used it as this is going to be my shop truck and will support the bed fully and can run a trailer hitch, will run full fendered and a full bed. Think I want to move the rear wheels back a little from the stock position. '35 wire wheels, undecided if will run the MB 4 cly diesel or an old 283 I got??? Joe.

I'm not a fan of the Model A extended cab pickup concept but I would take notes from Joe Tx if I were working on one. Something is up with the quarter window on yours - it looks like it's pointing uphill and effecting the roof where that kink is.

Wheelbase looks way too long as well.

I'd say the good news is you're definitely not afraid to cut something up so reworking this to get the better proportions shouldn't scare you at all.
