Me and my pal Cuzzin Deke stumbled on to some old cars today. The owner showed us some of the stuff he had. He doesn't want to sell anything right now. We did manage to buy a carburetor from him for our Model A coupe.

More photos including Cuzzin Deke (Dick) picking out the one he wants. I was fond of the flathead sitting in a Ford truck chassis with Fenton heads.

Looks like a cool old man. Hope he has some GOOD children that will not let this go to waste when he passes on. Also hope he sleeps with one eye open and a loaded 12 gauge to ward of the scrappers who would steal his treasures.

There were a couple of big barns FULL of car parts. He said he likes to buy stuff at auctions. I asked him if he had any Model A engines when we first got there and he said "yeah, I think I have a hundred of them or so."

Awesome find and he seems like a pretty cool fellow also.
He gave you "the tour" instead of setting the dogs lose and grabbing the 12 gauge..... '22
